I tried to sync up the DVR Manager app on my iPhone with my HD-DVR but my STB isn't showing the STBID number, it says:
"Status: STBID not found. please contact customer service representative at (888)553-1555"
I called the 1-888 number and the kid on the other end could not get my box to show the STBID. He had me reset my router (lost all my custom settings) and reset the box and send refreshes- none of this fixed it. He said he would have to escalate the ticket but, and I quote, "I don't know if they will call you back or not." Seriously??
We had our box replaced about a month ago and shortly after my wife was unable to view on-demand content until she called a number and "registered" the box. Why the tech didn't do this when he was on-site I do not know. After she called on-demand was not working.
I had setup the Remote DVR on my previous STB with my Blackberry so we have the service and it was setup at some point.
One other thing, if I go to myverizon.com and try to pull up my settop boxes in my account information it shows no boxes on my account.
We are watching all our channels and recording shows just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

"...lost all my custom settings..." indicates to me that you've modified the router settings and the Verizon servers that communicate with the STB cannot see it. Do you have the following types of entries in your firewall setting on the router?
192.168.1.100:63145 | Application | Broadband Connection (Coax) | Active |
192.168.1.101:63145 | Application | Broadband Connection (Coax) | Active |
192.168.1.101:8082 | Application | Broadband Connection (Coax) | Active |

I had the same issue today with both the phone app and fiostvcentral website, support reset my STB but no luck. I ended up rebooting the router at home and it fixed my issue. I'm wondering if they pushed something that hosed up the router.

One other thing, I just logged into my router, and it seems it was reset back to the default settings. Not sure what happened there, firmware is the same as before. Just some things you may want to look at.

No, my customs settings were simply additional forwarded ports and the deactivation of the wireless radio.
I only see 1 of the above entries, here is what I see on the port forwarding page:
Networked Computer / Device | Protocols | WAN Connection Type | Status |
localhost 127.0.0.1 | Verizon FiOS Service Tcp Any -> 4567 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
192.168.1.5 | GameRanger UDP Any -> 15505 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
192.168.1.100:8082 | Application TCP Any -> 35000 | Broadband Connection (Ethernet) | Active |
192.168.1.3 | WHS_4125 TCP Any -> 4125 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
192.168.1.5 | Application UDP Any -> 65535 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
192.168.1.3 | Application TCP Any -> 32925 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
192.168.1.3 | Application UDP Any -> 32925 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
192.168.1.3 | WHS_80 TCP Any -> 80 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
192.168.1.3 | WHS_443 TCP Any -> 443 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
On the main page of the router my STB is listed:
Device Name: IP-STB1
Connection Type: Coax
IP Address: 192.168.1.100
Status: Active
Remote Access: Enabled
If it makes a difference- all my FiOS Services come into my house on ethernet. The coax is only used internally to distribute the TV signal to the various rooms from my wiring cabinet.

In the IP address dropdown on the Port Forwarding page there is an option for IP-STB1 - 192.168.1.100 so I used that to manually enter the 2 missing entries :
IP-STB1 192.168.1.100 | Application | All Broadband Devices | Active |
IP-STB1 192.168.1.100 | Application UDP Any -> 63146 | All Broadband Devices | Active |
I guess I probably need to unplug my STB and let it reboot itself to see if this works?
