i returned my older dvr for the new 500gb multi room dvr. when i try to setup my blackberry with the remote dvr access, it says my telephone number is still registered to the returned unit. The returned unit also still appears in the list of set top boxes in my account, but it says unable to access at this time.

It takes a period of time for the old box to disappear from both remote DVR and My Verizon. The old box has to make it's way back into the system as a return before it is removed from your account, which can take time. If it has not been deleted by 10 days or so, I would contact Verizon. My return was removed within 5 days.
