tv pixeling/tiling on most channels & sound in & out

Can anyone help me try and figure out why some of my tv channels are pixeling/tiling and when it's doing this the sounds goes in and out. I've had this service for just over 2 years and it started doing it after we renewed our 2 yr contract. The support desk had me on the phone for over an hour and still couldn't help. All they suggested was I get a service guy out to check it out and that will cost me over $100.

Verizon will only bill you if the problem is the splitter or coax. If it is the ONT or STB then they will fix it for free. If the issue is happening on all STB's check to make sure the coax is tight at the grounding block and the splitters. Sometime I have seen left in attenuators that have gone bad. They are usually hooked up at the splitter or behing the STBs. They will be hooked directly to the coax. Good luck.
