802.11n Router

Verizon customer services says new customers are getting a router that supports 802.11n and that in April existing customers will be able to order one.

Is it going to be the Actiontec revision G or some other router?

I have been trying to get the new router from Verizon and all I get is a run around.

Re: 802.11n Router

Ufortunately, its luck of the draw and you cant really request one. Some people found them on ebay, but buyer beware. See the faq below Most of us just buy our own n router and then connect it to the vzactiontec following these, or similiar instructions.

Re: 802.11n Router

If they are going to be allowing the purchase of Wireless N routers, I'm certainly hoping they are allowing people to choose what kind of hardware they are looking for on the router, whether they want the option of Gigabit, or Gigabit + N.
