I connect to xbox live through my pc connection by use an etherent cable connected to my pc and the xbox. Which has been working extremely well.
But recently our internet went down due to some workers cutting a cord or something(we didnt know at the time). So we used the verizion in home agent thing to try and fix it, and it suggested we reset our router which we did.
Now when i try and connect to xbox live it says these things
"Can’t obtain an IP address from your router or modem
Your router or modem may not be automatically assiginging an IP address
On Your PC, go to your router configuration Web page. Make sure DHCP is enabled and has a large enough address range for all devices on the network
Also make sure that your routers MAC filtering allows your console MAC address or is diasbled"
"Can’t obtain an IP address from your router or modem
Your router may or modem may not be automatically assigning an IP address. You can try a static Ip address instead"
I dont understand what may have effected this once we reset the router.

#1 What is the brand, model, and ver of this router?
For example: Actiontec, MI-424-WI, Rev C.
#2 Are you using ICS or a bridge connection to share the net on your PC?

#1 In the router go to Advanced -> IP Address Distribution.
#2 What is the DHCP Range of the router?
#3 Consider, changing the connection to bridge on your computer.
