DHCP with Windows small business server 2011

I want to install a Windows small business sever 2011.  One of the first configuration steps is turn off DHCP on the router and let the windows server handle DHCP.  If I do this will the set top  TV box's and phones still work?.  I have the 9100em router

Yes, the STBs should still work.  They are well behaved DHCP clients.

Phones do not go though the router, so DHCP does not apply to them.
