Is there any way to prevent DoS attacks toward my router. I was hosting something and people started attacking me and crashing my internet.
Not much you can do besides try to firewall the bad traffic, wait it out or otherwise change your IP address. You likely will want to try closing down whichever server and it's associated port fowards you had set up, and also disable the ability of your router to respond to ICMP pings (there should be an option for this in the settings).
