Does the Verizon Network Extender (WCB3000n) matter if Dynamic or Static IP?

Hey so I recently purchased the Verizon Network Extender (WCB3000n). I set everything up and its working great. My main concern is that right now the extender is configured with a dynamic IP. Currently there are no problems but will I run in to any in the future? Is a static IP neccessary and how would I do so? My Verizon fios router is MI424WR-RevF.

Do you mean on the wan side or the lan side?

Unless you are trying to set up a server that has access from the Internet, dynamic should not be an issue.

As another poster stated, do you mean for your WAN or LAN connection?

If you mean the repeater itself is set to get a DHCP address then you should be fine.

Yes I mean the extender receives an IP from the DHCP
