I just got FIOS and I want to connect my Brother MFC-240C printer to the router's USB port so I can use it from any computer. I am not sure how to do this, so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well the router doesn't have a USB port, just ethernet ports. You would have to plug your Brother MFC-240C into a desktop for example and share it using windows printer sharing or setting it up as a print server.

There is a USB port on my Verizon router. It is even labeled USB. Can I not use this USB port to connect my printer to me network?

Yeh, the USB is not useable. Guessing you have one of the Westell routers. You cannot use this for a printer.

I believe that USB port in your router is like the ones in some cable/dsl modems used to connect to the internet but it is not suggested to use it that way.
Set it up straight from your computer sharing the printer, or if the router is capable of using ethernet card then buy a ethernet card for your printer and connect it in the router through ethernet cable.
