I recently discovered that my Internet 20/5 charge went up 56% recently. Has anyone else experienced such a sudden raise in charge for Internet service?
I have one of the bundles and recently downgraded my TV package - but now I pay more than before!!
If you were on a grandfathered package or a promotional package, it's possible that changing your package caused your rate to be changed to the current market price.
There isn't a 20Mbps/5Mbps package anymore unless you're in an MDU with VDSL-based FiOS. The lowest speed tier would be 15Mbps/15Mbps. That tells me grandfathered pricing may be involved.
