email is basically insecue (It is not encrypted). So any email that asks for personal information such as bank accounts, credit card information, userid, password and similar personal information  etc information, is almost by definition, phishing.  Don't ever send that kind of information via email!

So my advice is that if you get a request for that sort of information, just delete the email, and NEVER click on any link embedded in such an email.
