Using a laptop PC with FIOS service and trying to connect a new wireless HP Photosmart printer but it goes through the install on the computer but when I go to setup the printer it asks for ESSID which is correct but when I give it the WEP# from the router is says INVALID WEP KEY. HP says it's not on their end. Anyone else had this problem. I need help or I will return the printer if I can't use it successfully.

The ONLY Valid Characters in the WEP Key will be 0 to 9 and A to F.
I would logon to the router to confirm the WEP Key.
Once you get the printer on-line I would set it up with a Static TCP/IP Address.

Remember that with windows-based products you must use capital letters. with Apple, small letters

Make sure that the printer is set for WEP 64-bit and not 128-bit or WPA or another type of security.
