Unable to connect to router with Windows XP Laptop

Hi! I just got my FiOS service today and am trying to set up my internet service on my 3 PC's. I have a laptop with Windows 7 and a desktop with Windows XP which I was able to get connected without a problem. I also have a laptop with XP which I cannot get connected at all. The network adapter see's my network, asks for my WPA key, then when I click connect it says Waiting For Network. It says this for a couple minutes, then tells me it could not connect. I've tried everything I know but nothing makes any difference, I get the same result. I initially thought that maybe it was an XP issue, but then my XP desktop had no problems at all. Anybody have any idea what the problem could be? Any help would be appreciated!

You changed the standard WEP encryption on the wireless to WPA?
