Unable to run  FIOS "Vz  In Home Agent" - said it was loading the form, but made on progress. Rerunning got  message in Microsoft.NET window saying unhandled exception.

I uninstalled, downloaded new version and installed new InHome Agent (Vista OS).  Still get error messages.Details includethe text below.    cmoose

From the FIOS area in a simluar thread..

i like the online version of the app at www.verizon.com/repair

you can do a lot of the functions of the app without all the bloatware.

and

As other have said it does something, it waste resources.  Not sure on the MAC, but on PC's it has been none to drive at least one cpu to 100% (If you only have one its really bad).  And the number of functions it does that you might ever want to do is minimal.

Personally I recommend that you uninstall it, and make sure you get all pieces of it.

I agree with the above statements, but for the error you are getting, it requires microsoft .net 2.0 framework to be installed properly.

Also if you are on win 7 or win 8 try saving in home agent to the desktop, right click and run it in compatibility mode for xp sp2.

I don't use that software personally, I think the above www.verizon.com/repair is an easier method, and doesn't require a download.
