What is McciBrowser?

[ Edited ]

Today I noticed that there is a process mcci+McciBrowser running on my computer.

Further investigation indicates that it comes from the following location: %programfiles%\Verizon\McciBrowser.exe

Does anyone here have knowledge of what this is or why it is rnning on my computer?

Edit to add:

Ditto for something called Verizon ServicePoint.

Re: What is McciBrowser?

Well if you do not need Verizon support software loaded in your PC or you are not paying for Verizon Premium Support, you may want to go into the control panel and remove the software.

Re: What is McciBrowser?

McciBrowser is akin to what AOL Coach did for AOL users, it directly links you to support via the website rhrough software. Since You need to login into the site anyway, you don't really need it, once inside you can find and access those support pages yourself.Smiley Wink I've been running without for 2 years nowSmiley Very Happy, and Help and Support is just a click away via your web browserSmiley Happy
