when i sign in to" my verizon", it says welcome pete---when i retrieve my email it says welcome {edited for privacy}. i am also having a problem with hotmail after i let a vz rep login to my computer to reset the time zone because my call logs were 4 hours behind.
The welcome messages at the top that you see is something thats changed on the account profile page. To make the change, once your logged in, up at the top in the red bar click ACCOUNT, then ACCOUNT PROFILE. There a text box labeled ACCOUNT NICKNAME that you can type in to change what it says up there. This makes no other changes on your account. It's simply cosmetic. After making the change, it does take a little while for the website to update it.
