CBS Sports Network?

Are there any plans to put the CBS Sports Network (at a minimum) in the Extreme plan?  Recently, the Fox College Sports channels were put into the "Extreme" plan, but the CBS Sports Network did not join them.

In the past I have subscribed to a $5/month sports plan upgrade during college football season, but last year they all made their way into the Ultimate plan, which was beyond my budget, so I did without.

Also, are there any plans for CBS Sports Network HD to join any cable lineup?

CBS Sports Network states that they offer the channel in HD but only Direct TV and Dish Network carry it. They go on to say that we should contact our provider - Verizon - to ask for it. I'm asking as are several others from posts that I see in these forums. As these writers have indicated - there are plenty of redundant and obscure channels that we all have available in these packages but this is one that obvious to any sports fan shoud be avaible to us in HD! By the way, if anyone can figure out how one actually makes a channel request directly to Verizon, please post. I have asked the telephone representatives and none seem to have an answer. Nor does the website provide this function in any clear manner.

Please add this network in HD before September.  College football starts in September and there will be many big games broadcast on this network including games from UCLA, Indiana, Boise State, Minnesota, Boston College, Navy, Army, San Diego State, Fresno State, Nevada, Houston, UCF.  In addition, the US Open will also be broadcast during the weekend on this Network (http://blog.timesunion.com/sportsmedia/cbs-sports-network-adds-live-u-s-open-tennis-coverage/10249/).  It is 2012, it is time for this network to be broadcast on Fios in HD, please do so by September so we can get this important coverage.

While I'm certainly for getting this network in HD as well, I think our definitions of "big games" in college football are different. I'd have to be either pretty bored - or an alumn - to watch any of those teams. OK, maybe Boise State. 🙂

Unfortunately there is absolutely positively ZERO chance of this channel be added by the start of the football season  and I doubt you'll even see it this year. It's not a spanish language channel, that's the only thing verizon is adding. And once the Olympics are over I wold not be surprised to see those two Olympic channels become Cartoon HD and BBCA-HD.
