Can't change the clock?!

We just received a new HD Set Top Box. After a successful installation, I realized that the clock displayed, as well as the clock for the menu and guide are incorrect. The time is off by 3 hours not just a daylight savings glitch. Anyway all the info I have found says you  can not change the clock, and that there is no need to, but I think in this case I need to. Help, suggestions please?!

if the clock display is wrong, then it's not properly activated.  you'll want to do chat support so verizon can fix that, or call them.  tech support is 24/7
