I’ve been a FiOS customer for about 3 weeks now. I signed up for the Verizon FiOS Triple Play Bundle (digital phone / internet / TV) with a one year commitment. When the Services were installed, the technician also set up 2 STBs for me.
I am now interested in adding a TIVO HD DVR to my system and would like to call Verizon to order an M-Cable Card and schedule the installation.
Before I call though, I have one question that I wanted to see if anyone knew the answer to.
Does placing an additional Equipment order during the time I’m receiving the Triple Play Bundle price discount affect my service agreement in any way that I’ll then lose my discounted monthly price for the 3 Services?
I’ve researched everything I could find and didn’t see anything relating to adding additional Equipment to your account. I know that if I change any of my Services during the 1 year agreement I will lose the price discounts but I can’t find anything that addresses placing an additional order for more Hardware.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What it may affect is your contract length. Don't know if Verizon FiOS is the same as DirecTV in this area, but when I made changes with DirecTV (added/changed equipment), they always tried to extend my contract for a year from the effective date of change. Usually required a lengthy "discussion" with various departments to get the extension rescinded.
You should ask about this at time of order to be sure.
