If I go into the dvr settings and do the self diagnostics all it shows is "good", but no numbers. Is there a way to see the actual numbers of the signal?

Well nevermind I found it. Power, select, select. Anyone know if an SNR of 42-43 db is good or to high?

Hello roaddogg, that is a great signal strength. Are you having issues with pixelation on certain channels? Usually a technicial support agent will ask for the signal strength if the user is reporting bad picture quality.

I have issues with fast action scenes or movements/effects. Objects break up during fast movement or a good example I as watching Sleepy Hollow on Showtime one day and the last half hour with all of the lightning effects was terrible. This goes on with all channels. I think its macroblocking, but I'm trying to figure out why it just started happening 2 months ago. I checked everything possible in my house thats why I questioned if maybe my signal was to high.

All channels? Even SD?
Have you made any changes to TV settings?

Yes all channels. I have 2 tv's and same thing on both and I have tried changing all kinds of settings on the dvr and my tv.
I noticed its not as bad tonight although still there, just not as bad, so this tells me its on Verizons side.
