I have Blue Ray player that has an ethernet connector to hook up to the internet for firmware updates and other services.
My Motorola QIP 7216 DVR has an ethernet connector.
Can I connect the Blue Ray player to the DVR for this, or do I have to connect it to the router which is in a different room?
The Blue Ray is connected to the TV via HDMI.
