Similar problems - thought it was an IR receiver sensor problem - not so sure after reading this.

I am at version 1.0 as well.

There are 2 VHO's/markets who still have yet to receive the update.

You can check on dslreports under this thread http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r30114294-New-Quantum-IMG-APR-2-0-Build-04-25-6-15-15~start=570 to see if you are in the VHO that has yet to receive it.

If you are in one that has seen it you can try doing a cold boot which will reactivate your boxes and pull in the update....if it was released where you are. I know a few who have had to do this.

To do a cold boot do the following:

1. Unplug the VMS box.
2. Plug the box back in and begin pressing MENU right away really fast/several times  until you see the word "run".
3. Using the down arrow button, keep pushing until you see the word "Cold".
4. When you have the word "Cold" on the display, hit "OK".
5. The box will go through the activation process over again.

Well... Just read that someone posted on Verizon Direct (not sure what that is) that my VHO (6 for MA) won't be getting 2.0 but will be getting 2.1 but no time frame has been identified...

Sheesh!

Parsippany

Release: APR-1.0

Build Number: 03.24.2

UI Version: 03.24.2(3248.4)

Middlewar Version: 03.24

Firmware Version: KA12.50.07.07Alder.439790

I just had an episode where the DVR was playing a recording.  It would not respond to the remote at all.  No rewind, no FF, no Exit, nothing.  No button would work except STB, which shut it down.  When it came back it was back to "normal."  In other words, the system was totally unresponsive for several minutes.

There is an update that came out to fix this type of issue.

But it was stopped due to an issue.

Hopefully it will restart soon and you should see better performance.

Another episode last night.  TV signal non-existent.  No channels for an extended time.  This time the STB button did not help.    Your "issues" are getting worse.  This is the worst condition it has ever been.  So bad that Verizon should consider rebates for time without service.  And all of this after all of the promises of updates.

Today all TVs in the house froze on one station for over an hour.  This is really absurd.  Verizon just does not seem to care.
