STB DVR Reset Log?

I've been a FIOS customer for around 3 months and have had to reset the DVR either 3 or 4 times. My 3 non-DVR boxes have never been reset.

Is the reseting of the DVR box a normal occurance?

Also is there a log which will let me know what is causing me to reset the DVR?

Or is the log available to a FIOS technical rep?

Hankl, currently there is no log of the times the DVR has been reset.  I am curious, have you called into tech support with the issue of the DVR resetting?  The issue may be related to something as simple as the set top box over heating.  You'll want to ensure that the DVR has at least 2 inches of clearance space around it for proper ventilation.  I hope that helps, if it doesn't give us a call so that we can trouble shoot the issue with you.

Thanks for getting back to be and sorry for the slow response but I was out of town. I had a Live Chat with Tech Support and they did a Reset of the DVR. 

I do have more than 2 inches of space and since the reset,  the DVR appears to be working fine but It's too early to tell. I'll have to wait a few weeks to see if the problem reappears.
