I've been using Verizon for about 5 months now. As of 07/25, when I attempt to watch a DVR'd show on the main STB, after I hit the final "OK", all I get is the info bar at the bottom of the TV screen with the DVR'd program channel and name, it does not start playing, then after a few seconds, the screen goes completely black, eventually reverting to the last menu of the DVR controls where I selected the recorded program.
I unplugged the main STB to see if a hard reboot would fix things. No change.
This means there was no signal at the time of the recording or it was a corrupted recording. Does this happen when you record new shows as well? Do you have problems watching live TV on those channels you are trying to record? If you're having problems with live TV as well, please reseat coax cable leading to the back of the box. If you are still having this problem with new recordings only, please send me a private message so we can send some commands to your box.
