i rented lone survivor last night and about 30 minutes in to the movie i lost the picture a box came and said time out

Make sure you contact Verizon for a credit.  THIS FORUM IS PEER TO PEER and not a way to contact them.  Probably best to try 1-800-VERIZON .

I don't know if you tried VOD before.  ITs best to a number of Free HD VOD (TV shows, etc) to make sure your VOD is working well before trying to purchase something.  That way you can get a feeling for how well you connection works.

ridiculous that you have call when there is a problem....the phone triage basically beats you up and punishes you for trying to not pay for a service Verizon can't deliver.

Reboot your router and dvr/stb then try it again. Most issues are solved with a reboot.
