Absolutely disgusted with Verizon

Hello -

This is absolutely disgusting the tastics and lies I've received from Verizon.  I had Verizon Fios internet 15/5 for basically a year and a half (no contract) for $54.99 a month.

Last month I saw a promotion on the website for the ultimate triple play for $109.99/month, with $500 Visa cash card. I said that's great! i'll ugrade.  I tried to upgrade via the website and it said the promotion is not available for $109.99 and was kicking me to $139.99/month.

So I called in and said, if you honor the website price, I will accept the upgrade, otherwise I'll stay with my $54.99 internet.

They honored it, I was very pleased, but said where I live they don't have a "contract" available so I was not eligible for the $500 Visa card, I said that's fine, although I know they just didn't want to give the card for some reason.  So I have the ultimate now and I was very happy.......until I received my bill.  The bill is for over $200 and I was charged $139.99 for the Ultimate after she promised me it was $109.99 and honored.

So, being disgusted I called today and said I want to cancel the ultimate and go back to just my internet since you've lied to me, taken advantage of me and have cheated me out of the Visa card and honored pricing.

What does Verizon do to me today??????? That $54.99/month internet...sorry we only have it for $74.99 a month now without a contract.  ARE U  KIDDING ME?!?!!

SO YOU LIE TO ME ABOUT HONORING THE PRICE, OVER CHARGE ME AND CHEAT ME OUT OF A $500 VISA CARD AND THEN RAISE MY INTERNET I HAD FOR A YEAR AND A HALF BY $20.00!!!!!!! 

I am going to file a complaint with the BBB and every possible place I can.  This is fraud!

I will have my day in court with you in the near future, you disgust me.

It looks like your issue may require a Verizon representative to review your account details. An agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information or help you resolve your issue.

This is a peer-to-peer support forum. If you want to get a message to Verizon, you should contact them directly via one of the options on their Contact Us page.

If Verizon has nothing to hide then I say post Verizon's response and resolution to this problem. If Verizon does the right thing everybody wins, If they don't,well, business as usual.

I received a private message on 2/10 with a link to a secure form to fill out stating the information about what's occured. I replied to it on 2/11, very early in the morning, today is 2/14 and STILL NO RESPONSE!!!!!

Welcome to the club!  Verizon is screwing me over too.  Bill went up $25 for no reason.  When I call I just get friendly people saying we will do nothing for you.  Besides social networking, now when I see a FIOS van pull up in front of a house in my neighborhood I rush over to share my experience with my neighbor.  Be forewarned!

This just goes to show people have got to get everything in writting these days.

When you order/upgrade online you can print things out, but when you talk to a rep. on the phone what proof do you have besides their word......unless of course you record the conversation legally.

I never ever do business without something in writting or something I can easily print out.
