I CALLED VERIZON CUSTOMER SERVICE TODAY TO FIND OUT AVAILABILTY ON A DVR PACKAGE FOR EXISTING CUSTOMERS TO FIND THAT THERE WAS A BILLING ISSUE ON MY ACCOUNT. I ASKED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT DECHABERT WHO EXPLAINED THE CHARGE CAN ONLY BE ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT BY REQUEST. I KNOW FOR A FACT I NOR DID WHY WIFE ORDER A DISNEY PACKAGE FOR AN ADDITIONAL $5.99 A MONTH. SO I ASK MRS. DECHARBERT CAN SHE FIND OUT HOW LONG I HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR THE PACKAGE. SHE DID NOT GIVE ME AN ANSWER BUT SAID SHE WILL GIVE ME A 2 MONTH CREDIT. I REPLY I WHO AUTHORIZED THE CHARGE, STILL NO ANSWER. I TELL HER I WILL HAVE TO CHECK MY RECORDS BECAUSE I DONT BELIEVE SHE GAVE ME THE CORRECT INFORMATION REGARDING THIS CHARGE. BETWEEN BEING PLACED ON HOLD AND STALLING FOR AN ANSWER, I GET FED UP OF HER STALLING AND NO ANSWER TO ASK WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE CHARGED FOR AN ITEM YOU DID NOT ORDER ON YOUR BILL? THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AGENT DECHABERT REPLIED"WELL I CHECK MY BILLS EACH MONTH". I MEAN WOW, IS THIS HOW VERIZON TRAINS THERE STAFF TO TREAT A PAYING CUSTOMER?

NOT ONLY WAS MRS. DECHABERT NOT HELPFUL, RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL SHE WAS QUICK TO GET RID OF ME AND PLACE ME ON HOLD FOR 38 MINUTES AND 28 SECONDS. I WANTED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR AND SHE CLAIMS THERE WAS NONE AVAILABLE OR WAS SHE FEARFUL I WOULD COMPLAIN ABOUT HER? I HOPE TO HEAR BACK FROM A SUPERVISOR TO CLEAR MY ISSUE IF NOT I DONT THINK I WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP VERIZON FOR MY ENTERTAINMENT NEEDS.

IF A SUPERVISOR READS THIS PLEASE EMAIL ME OR CALL ME AS I DONT BELIEVE MRS. DECHARBERT WILL NOTIFY HERE SUPERIORS THAT I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE LEVEL OF SERVICE I RECEIVED TODAY.

Wow, on hold for less than one hour?  You're actually very fortunate.

There was one time I stayed on hold waiting for a rep for almost six hours....I was just stubborn enough that I refused to hang up - as we should all be....
