GOOD Job!

I am a former TWC, Comcast and who ever they were prior to that subscriber. Probably a subscriber since 1985 when I moved into this area. While I had been considering it for years, a recent DVR upgrade prompted my move to Fios. I have been very pleased with the picture quality, the technicians who came out were very pleasant and helpful, and the subscriptions I opted for were delivered as promised. Navigating to where I wanted to go on your website was a learning process but I managed. We all want more for our dollar, but I'd like to say what I got by switching from cable was far more than I planned. I am pleased with the guide and the DVR options. While I would like to view my DVR programming from a mobile device at times, I'm patient enough to see what future months brings us. I think my money is well spent and wish I had switched providers years ago.

Why don't you post a telephone number for customer service where it is easily found so when we need answers to simple questions we don't have to write a novel to get a yes or no answer?

I like Fios way more than Cablevision and Comcast myself.  There is a huge difference in the TV picture quality, the Internet speed is a lot quicker, the phone service is better with clearer sound quality, and you just get a lot more for your money overall with Verizon.  I think Verizon also offers a much more pleasing and user friendly IMG with more information and it offers a lot more channels which would otherwise cost you a lot more money with the cable.  Plus, you can renew your contract every 2 years to keep your monthly bill down and get rewarded with discounts and a rewards card that you can spend on anything you want.   Unless I move to an area where Verizon Fios is not available, nobody can convince me to switch over to Comcast.

I also must say that Verizon did very well during the recent hurricane which caused widespread power outages in my area.  My Fios came right back on when I got my power back.  Other people I spoke to weren't so lucky with their cable after getting their power back.  And even though this has nothing to do with Fios, my Verizon Wireless cell phone continued to work very well during the outage.  Other people I spoke to who have T-Mobile or AT&T weren't so fortunate with that.

So welcome and enjoy your Fios!
