Horrible horrible customer service

Hello-

I am furious and don't know what to do. I have tried to call and resolve my issues with an elite representative at Verizon, but they are only making things worse.

They basically messed up our new install of services, and after 16 phone calls, all that lasted over 45 minutes, we finally have service. I do not think it's enough to say they will simply refund $30 due to our inconvenince. I lost a weeks works of work due to the fact that I didn't have internet service at home, and every phone call wound up with the same answer--they were working on it and they will have someone call me back. NO one ever called us back, and even more infuriating was the call that said we are calling to check on your service that should be working--it wasn't, and in fact we didn't have service for another two days.

At one point we had a tech guy on the phone that said his supervisor was arguing with him on the chat session about why we wanted to speak to a manager. We wanted to speak to a manager because no one had answers and no one was calling us back as promised.

I want to know who I can speak to about this and the many horrible experiences with customer service that we have had over the last two weeks. This is unnaceptable, and I refuse to be treated this way and then patronized with a call telling me we will get a $30 credit after all the hassle we went through.

Please help direct me to whom I can register my complaint. I have also been in touch with the lcoal Better Business Bureau.

Thanks in advance for any direction folks can give me.

Oh no- I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience with your new install! When I moved a few years ago I had the same experience with another provider and it was maddening.

I've asked that your post be escalated to our social support team. My hope is that they'll be able to look at your history, figure out what went wrong and find a way to help to set things right.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases".  You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information.  This should be checked on a frequent basis  as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
