Lack of Performance

I recently received the Mar/Apr copy of Spotlight which urged me to uses some previously unknown services.  I went to My Perks and started to print some coupons.  Unfortunately, despite being actively using the site it repeatedly timed out on me.

 forcing me to re-enter the site.

Next I tried FIOS Mobile Remote.  I was repeatedly told that a signal could not be sent to my Verizon Wireless Droid X.  I was told to try again later and to reboot the settop box.  I have tried both with no success.

Next I tried to go to verizon.net/wifi.  As soon as the site appeared I was routed to the home page.  I asked the in home agent about the problem and was told to turn off my pop up blocker, which I did but this did not eliminate the problem. 

I tried to contact Verizon from the contact us page but the site timed out after only a few words were typed.  It is also amazing that the spell check on the site does not recognize FIOS, wifi, and Droid.

All in all, it was a very discouraging experience.

My Perks sounds like such a wonderful thing however when you try the Play to win, you can never get to the options. Always get a message saying there is a problem with this website. Calling for assistance is not a plesant experience. No on knows anything about it and refers me to my internet provider, hello, Verizon is my internet provider. So what now? Just live with no performance or being able to take advantage of the My perks? Is this normal?
