I have had the same issue. My account has been closed for several months and I am still awaiting the security deposit back. I've been on the phone several times over several weeks and been told they submitted a 'form' every time to check the status and they would get back to me. They never get back and each time I call have no record of the previous support attempts. I'm so frustrated. I'm just looking for my deposit back. The experience has been a deteran from using future verizon services.

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe". Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

I too have a similar issue. I canceled by Verizon FIOS account on May 27, 2014. UPS tracking confirms that Verizon received my equipment on May 28, 2014. It is now October and I am still waiting to receive my deposit refund. I have called COUNTLESS times, being transferred back and forth btwn depts for over an hour reaching no conclusion. On occasions i have been promised a follow up after a Verizon employee gives me their email address and files reports on my behalf; these follow ups have never manifested. I have been told that there is no record of my deposit, for which I have dug up and submitted 1+ year old credit card statement showing the transaction. I have done everything in my power to collect my deposit and have offered all necessary paperwork (which should not have been asked of me in the first place) and Verizon continues to not refund me the deposit I am owed. I have filed a coomplaint with the FTC about this as I believe I am being wronged. I would appreciate a supervisor taking up this case and solving this issue, esp as Verizon customer service told me earlier today (when I called AGAIN) that they no longer have access to my account in their system bc it has been archived given that the account was closed so many months ago!

I am having the same issue.  My security deposit was supposed to be refunded in JULY!  I have been on the phone with customer service for weeks now getting bounced around from one department to the next; each one telling me I have been sent to the wrong place. I AM SO SICK OF VERIZON!

Same issue here. I have been waiting for the check for 3 months. 2 checks should be sent to my home. One is $10 another one is $125. However, I got a $125 check a month ago with wrong name!! I then email back to the retention specialist of Verizon for a replacement check and she replied " Okay I will see what can be done". I waited for her response for 15 days and STILL no response even though I email her twice this week. What's going on Verizon?
