First, how about a useful support page? I not only can't find a way to locate my problem (slow internet speed), but I can't find a posted solution.

Second, your support page doesn't allow for submitting queries.

Third, trying your automated attendant can't help, because it is not available when internet speeds are 0.67 Mbps/sec, since it times out.

Fourth, I can't install your In Home Agent, because with speeds of 0.67 Mbps/sec, it times out.

Fifth, Verizon's corporate culture is one that only Louis IVX would appreciate in terms of arrogance and privilege.

Sixth, you guys are a de facto unregulated monopoly, I suspect because you somehow managed to raid to the very last competent person at AT&T in order to have a convenient whipping-boy.

Seventh, it really doesn't matter if its a VZW issue, a landline issue, a billing issue, or an internet issue, you have found the most luxurious rock to hide under.

Eighth, I wish Teddy Roosevel was alive, You wouldn't be able to game the system then, because there would be one single honest politician/FCC Commissioner who wasn't in your pocket.

Ninth, I love the way you get to change terms without my agreement (VZW).

Tenth, It has taken me over an hour to find this page. That includes multiple windows, misdirects, and popups that I have had to battle, just to get here.

Eleventh, have I mentioned that you engage in lawful, yet evilly unethical business practices?

Not that you have a conscience; I suspect that this post will make you all a quiver with some sick glee at how effective you are at flaying the skin off of the consumer.

I agree.  This web site is terrible!

Please add a search engine bar such as bing or google to the start page. It would be more convenient than making me go to them and it suggests I shouldn't use verizon as a home page at all.

This is a peer-to-peer support forum. If you want to get a message to Verizon, you should contact them directly via one of the options on their Contact Us page.

Though I think you have gone a bit far, I am sure many of your peers would support you.  That would make this a support page!

Please list a specific task that you wish to accomplish.  I or another volunteer user will then try help you.  A statement like "This web site is terrible!" doesn't give us much to go on.

This feature is already available:

1.  Open the "MyVerizon" start page using this link: http://entertainment.verizon.com/

2.  Place a shortcut to this page on your desktop.

3.  You will see a large blue sign near the upper right that says:  "Customize this Page."  In the related drop-down box choose "Change Layout"  and click on it.

4.  Choose the "slim"  layout and save your settings.

That's it.  Now when you click on the desktop shortcut you set up in step 2,  you will find a LARGE Google search bar at the top of the page.  You will also find large links to just about any conceivable task you need to maintain service and obtain information.

I have found that every needed service is available on MyVerizon, although at times it does take some effort on the part of the user.

Wow! That is a big improvement! Gets rid of all of the useless junk but still preserves access to everything. And it seems a whole lot faster to display. A big win all around. Thanks for posting.
