Verizon lies to and breaks contracts

We have been customers of verizon for many years with the bundle package, it sounded good at the time so why not, right?  HAHA wrong!  We have added lines and renewed contracts over and over with knowing that when we renew, it is renewing the same contract.  We are never given any other information to makes us think otherwise, nor are we ever told.  We were given 100 extra min to our plan and were never told that it is now expired??  They are now saying that each time we renew/upgrade, our contract is redone, with or without our knowledge.  We are over minutes for the month of Dec/Jan because my father was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer and was in the hospital, he was in critical condition and I was getting calls from his many doctors, specialists, and hospitals regarding his declining status.  He passed away on Jan 22nd and we are disgusted by the heartless actions of Verizon to charge us so much have such complete disregard to their customers and emergency situations.  We have NEVER gone over our minutes and the only way they offered to fix it was to offer us a HIGHER monthly charge to cover our Overage charges, which never happen and is not needed. 

We also come to find out that our PRIVATE home line that we have had PRIVATE for many many years and are paying for, has been made public and published in the phone book without our knowledge or consent.  We brought this up to them and again, they state it is in the new contract that we do not have nor agreed upon.   OUr internet never works, it takes one hour to get on it after refreshing over and over.  Plus, we have a message from a V rep stating that they would credit our account 40% for the overage charges, we replied saying to go ahead because nothing else is being done, and we called today and they stated that it was not going through because we refused it! UNBELIEVABLE! Why does everyone say something different and get away with it. How can you treat people this way?  There has to be a law against this.  It is harrasment, discrimination, falsifying a "contract" which we now do not have one according to another voicemail message from another rep stating that is was expired.  So confusing and so frustrating! 

WHAT IS THE STORY VERIZON!? you promote a good game on TV to pull in your customers but then fail them miserably.  I am amazed of the lack of respect to customers in relsolving issues or having a little compasion to individual grievances.  In our eyes, verizon broke the contract by taking away our extra 100 minutes without our knowledge and for making our home number public without our consent and we continue to pay for it. 

We will continue to fight this, we will be looking to change providers and we will bring this to small claims court (worth every penny) if it is not resolved by someone who cares for customers and doesnt pass us around and around and waste everyones time!  Take care of your customers verizon! We are what make you who you are!
