equipment

I had a fios account two years ago that I had to close due to serious financial problems......and I made a horrific mistake of not returning my equipment so I got slapped with a 2400 bill.  I am working to dig out of the massive hole I created.  So I turned in my set top boxes to the verizon store...two months later still haven't gotten any info or credit for the equipment.  Verizon keeps sending me from office to office on the phone and telling me they can't find me or my account.  Its not cool.  I just want credit for the stuff so I can take care of this account.  But verizon's people say they cant help...............sheesh
