For the last month I have been raving about the service and price savings I have had since changing from Time Warner to a DirecTV and Verizon Bundle. This was until I received bills for the Verizon half of more than double the quoted price.
So 3 hours on the phone and a three way with supervisors from both bundling departments, their conclusion. I guess I am the one at fault for believing anything they ever said.
The original quote was for $95.98 a month before tax for the first year and an additional $20 a month for the following year. The closest they can come up with is $115 a month before tax and a 1 time $50 credit.
What exactly do I have to do to get someone to just do what they said they would? I am looking into contacting the NYS Attorney as I asked an operator in the bundling dept. If this is how they normally do business and his answer was yes. I said "This is Bait and Switch as far as I am concerned" his reply was 'Yes it is."
