Is it possible to use the media manager on my Ipad (I have not installed it on a PC yet) to stream a pics to the tv? Media Manager on the TV can't find a PC with media manager installed, it does not find the Ipad at all.

As I recall, media manager must be running on your PC, not just installed, before the STB will see it. I uninstalled media manager because I could never get it to function in a manner that added any value. So I can't test my memory.

I saw a fios remote control app for iPhone and had to install.
From the iPhone (touch, iPad will work) I can control any of my stb's in my house. I can change channels, volume, pull up guide, etc. I can do most everything from iPhone as I can do on remote. When I press a button to change channel no lag channel changes.
There is also a photo viewer. Pictures I've taken with on my iPhone can be displayed on the tv. As soon as I say display photo on tv it shows up. I can slide my finger across screen to change to next pic or let it run in slide show.
It's stuff like this that keeps me a happy fios customer.
The speed is amazing. J
