So my modem issues are fixed but I continuously get this message
(GMT-05:00)18:49:52 Wed Sep 29 2010 user info syslog: failed dns request len=158,srcip=MY IP ADDRESS, url=b._dns-sd._udp.domain_not_set.invalid
(GMT-05:00)18:49:50 Wed Sep 29 2010 user info syslog: failed dns request len=86,srcip=MY IP ADDRESS, url=lb._dns-sd._udp.0.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa
Is this something wrong, I tried searching on it but it only appears to be part of peoples logs with speed issues, I am not having issues anymore?

These are merely the DNS server reporting it's inability to resolve a particular name (because the names themselves are invalid). In this case:
_udp.domain_not_set.invalid
and
_udp.0.1.168.192.in-addr.arpa
You likely have a windows machine which is periodically trying to locate various service records (which tell it if it's on a domain, etc.) and you don't have a domain name set on this windows server so the names it's searching for literally don't exist.
It's not an "error" per-se, it's just reporting that it could resolve something. something in this case being something isn't expected to resolve anyhow.
