Last night my wife and I could not go onto the internet. When I would try to connect with my laptop (wireless) the internet light on my modem would turn red. I would then get a message that it couldn't connect. And then the red light would go out on the router.
I called Verizon and they couldn't even tell me if the service was down in the area. The woman on the phone had me go into internet explorer and type in my IP address and some names and passwords. When I got to the connection screen the STATUS said DOWN. Now I'm waiting for a phone call from verizon.
Just wondering if anyone in the Nazareth, Bethlehem, Allentown area is having the same problem.
Other times when I have called verizon (only once in the past) they were very helpful and fixed the problem.
