Hi,
I have requested for Internet DSL Installation. Although service is activated (per Verizon) no instructions or Package is delivered. When I connect to Modem I am not getting any internet (all the lights are not turning into green). When I call the help desk they say first Phone needs to be installed. It’s been 11 days since my service is activated, neither had I received an instructions nor a package. I cannot understand how I can install a phone with just a cable? I have the order confirmation number, is there a way I can install it on my own?

DSL requires that you have a phone line at your house. Do you have a phone line installed?
DSL requires that you have a DSL modem. Do you have a DSL modem? Is it connected to the phone jack?
Self-installation is fairly simple. You plug the DSL into power and the phone jack. The Ethernet side goes to your computer or a router (though the new units include the router and switch).
You use inline filters for your other regular phones.
