I currently have the Weltell model 327W15 for DSL service. I'm thinking on buying a faster router that has a build in DSL modem but before I could install this I need to know what my DSL username and password is. The username shown is newdsl. What my password? I did not set this up. I remember being on the phone once with tech support and they had me push the modem reset button.

The Username and Password you should aim to use would be your Verizon Username and Password. Basically, the same one used for logging into your e-mail unless they differ (which could be the case, I manage a DSL connection for a business whose MyVerizon login for the master account is different from the PPPoE login). Realistically, if the newdsl profile is working, you could probably just stick anything in and it will connect.
