Dsl too slow

I have HSI Extra service which promises 1.2-1,5 Mbps. I am getting 0.4 download and 0.1 upload. It doesn't vary with the time of day. Using Cnet power meter, from 418 kbps to 428,  several times during the day and night.

I have plugged into the NID and the speed doesn't change, so it's not in-house wiring. The router,Versalink 327W, is about 6 years old.

 What should I do next?

Can you provide the Transceiver Statistics from the Westell? Visit http://192.168.1.1/ for me and do the following:

1: If you see a Blue and White Westell page, mouse over Troubleshooting, go to DSL, and choose Transceiver Statistics. Copy/Paste the information on that page.

2: Go to System Monitoring > Advanced Monitors > Transceiver Statistics. Copy/Paste the information on that page.

3: Try visiting http://192.168.1.1/transtat.htm which is a direct link to the Stats on older modems.

If you need a Username and Password, try the following:

admin/password

admin/password1

admin/admin

I Just spent an hour with Amin on live chat. After cleaning files, upgrade to the router, etc  the end result on Speedtest was nearly the same as when we started. It was ping 115ms, download 0.44 and upload 0.13. Not even near to the promised 1.2-1,5Mbps promised. What next?

My problem is I cannot get any of the default passwords to open the router. I do not ever remember setting one.

I can get part 1 w/o a password, but not the part 3 suggestion. Does this help?
