My current plan fo rHigh speed internet enhanced is 3.1 - 7. When I look to renew for another year the new offer says 1.1 -15. Has something changed? I am currently getting about 6.25 download I would hate to end up getting on the lower end of the new offer.

It's the same package, just a wider range of speed. It means that if Verizon has the equipment in place to give you more than 7Mbps, you have an ADSL2 modem (Anything Westell 6100 / 327w and newer, aka anything made in the past 7 years) and your line is good enough you can get up to that speed. You should be able to get it NOW, anyways.

If you do get downgraded, it's easy to get the speed turned back up. In most cases renewing won't actually change the speed since you're not actually changing the contract, just extending it.
