How to get someone to address concerns

I just Bundled with Direct tv and Verizon.  I order enhanced internet and it was installed on May 7, 2012, On June 20th I started having trouble and the Mac tech  contacted central office and determined my speed was to high, they lowered it to 1mg. speedtest.net showed I was only operating at .74. A second Mac tech tested line and now I'm operating at 1.01mb. I tried to find out if I could get the higher speed but according to Mac Tech would not recommend it. I spoke with an order person and they said records indicate Verizon was working to fix line..

I would like the higher speed But can't get anybody to tell me if its available or would work on my facilities. The web site says it's available???????

We can check from here to get a rough estimate of what's going on. What modem did Verizon supply you with (Make and model)?
