I can cut my phone/internet bill in half if I switch to Comcast but I wondered if I can retain my DSL service without having to pay for my land line thru Verizon. I can't see how that would be possible but I thought I'd ask.
What you're asking for is called "Dry Loop DSL" which Verizon does carry. When you cancel the phone line, the price per month for the DSL will go up a few dollars, though the DSL will continue to function (or at least should if no one disconnects you accidentally).
