Tired of talking to someone in India!!!!

I have a slow connection. I have tried all the fixes suggested by "peggy" Now you want to charge me to bring your tech in to fix my computer. The guy I hired to set up my computer said its on your end not mine. Is there a phone number for someone local I can talk to? I really need help, I'm not getting what I'm paying for and feel like nobody cares.

Please post your transceiver statistics. That will show the speed of the link between you and CO, and the tranmission losses.

That will help establish where the problem actually is.

Also run make sure you are wired, and not wireless.

Run a speedtest @ http://speedtest.verizon.net

Click the see more details here link, and copy and paste those results.

There are a few places where you could bottleneck.

The PC itself, the DSL Modem and the line.

The tranceiver stats will show us if the Verizon end of it is bad, like the line or the filters in your house or your modem.

The speedtest results will show us if your pc is a bottleneck.
