VZ In-Home Agent is a tool that helps you setup and troubleshoot your High-speed Internet (DSL). This tool is simple, easy-to-use and has information about various features of your High-speed Internet (DSL) services along with quick fixes for many common problems. The best part of this tool is that it automatically identifies your services and provides customized help, eliminating the need to wait for an agent.

VZ In-Home Agent assists with fixing internet connectivity issues, setting up your wireless Internet connection, helps with setting up and restoring Verizon Email accounts, retrieving your wireless network's SSID and WEP encryption key, helps with Router Reset/Reboot and provides information about your home network and other Verizon services.

Minimum system requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows XP,Vista or Windows 7
  • RAM: 512 MB
  • Storage: 50 MB available on Hard disk
  • Router(FiOS): Verizon-provided router (The D-Link routers are the only Verizon-supported routers that do not work with the Vz In-Home Agent)
  • Modem(High Speed Internet (DSL)): For wireless support, a Verizon-provided wireless gateway is required. (Vz In-Home Agent does not support setting up wireless connections on 3rd party routers)
