VERIZON DSL OUTAGE?? SOCAL - LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA

My DSL has been down for 3 days or so, we've had heavy rains the last few days and mudslides etc. around the area.  I'm wondering if it's related?  Any reported outage around this area? 

I'm techy and I've tried everything and I'm really getting frustrated.  Thankfully my neighbor has an open SSID.  -Thanks.

Could be related. Do you have voice service with Verizon as well? If you don't have voice service but you have a corded phone and a DSL filter around, are you able to get something such as a Fast Busy signal when you plug it into the DSL line?
