Verizon support is the worst

My internet service suddenly went from 3MBPS to 1.5 MBPS. 

I called tech support. The made me do the entire monkey routine of powering on/off modem, line test..... After about 30 minutes monkeying  around, the tech support guy declared that it was a circuit problem on their end and they will check it out and call me in 24 to 48 hours. Game in a confirmation no. No calls and nothing fixed.

I called again... ditto.

I called again... ditto.

I called again... ditto.

I called again... ditto. (I hope you are counting, that's five times).

each time I called they said it was being escalated to the highest level (apparently these guys are in Hyderabad).

I called US office several times - no help

I sent emails, complaints - no help

Time to find another service provider.

Goodbye Verizon.
