Webmail immediate session expiration

I have read many blogs on this site regarding other users suffering the same issue and have even called tech support and they blew me off ('we will call back' is what they said). Why is it that when I log into the webmail service, I am immediatly logged out indicating session expired. I have check the box "keep me logged in" and that helps. I can perhaps read one email but low and behold, I am logged out once again. I have used Chrome, Firefox and to my dismay even tried the awful Internet Explorer to no avail. if so many other users are having this problem, why is it Verizon cannot solve it?

Re: Webmail immediate session expiration

I continue to have the same issue for MONTHS! It's really frustrated to have a time expiration warning when I just logg in and after selecting to keep me logged in for 2 weeks.

Is there fix for this issue. This is taking a lot of my time everytime I try to check my emails. And YES I have tried several computers!!!

This is happening to me also.  It is very frustrating, especially after you have composed an e-mail and hit send, then lose it all. you cannot even save it to draft.

I am also having the problem. I am able to get to the email page, but then when I click on an email to read, the session expires.

Re: Webmail immediate session expiration

This happens to my wife and I both. All computers, work and home, all browsers IE, FF, Chrome, Opera.  It is Verizon Mail problem and they should fix it - PERIOD !  I save as draft every 20 seconds just so I don't have to type things over again which is ridiculous user experience.

Re: Webmail immediate session expiration

To anyone having issues with webmail I would suggest changing to Zoho web based mail. https://mail.zoho.com/biz/index.do

I switched about 2 years ago and have had zero issues. It is easy to setup. You also get an extra email account (free from zoho) from which I have received no SPAM. You can alternately use MicroSoft outlook if you already have a license for the MS Office suite (2007 or 2010) this is another free alternative.

Same problem here. Started happening to me at work, from my work PC. Three different browsers on it (two of which I have never ever used before), and same result from another computer here, again one that I have never ever sat in front of.

Went home, and I CAN log in from there.

Tried clearing cache, cookies, and all remembered login information from the browser (firefox) - that allowed me to connect and do ONE THING. i.e. delete an email, click on one email. But as soon as I did that one thing, the same window popped up again.

Then I cleared all 'offline website data' (again, in firefox). This got me to a brand new login screen! Brilliant! Problem solved, right?

WRONG. I logged in, and was again allowed to click ONE THING before the same {word filter avoidance} thing happened to me.

I was told by tech support that it 'had to be' my cookies or cache, despite the fact that I tried 3 browsers and two computers.

Even worse; to troubleshoot it, they REQUIRED MY PERSONAL PASSWORD, and all they did was log in to my email from there and tell me it was my problem.

Been pretty happy with Verizon until now (over ten years). But this is ticking me off pretty bad, and that service tech made me want to punch him.

Still not working...
