OK 3 7500 units now still dropping internet and when they do work I have greatly reduced speeds, lines have been worked on 2 times last tech made changes at switching station and still issues.
Previous to this I had DSL modem issues also westell.
I now understand Verizon offers Actiontec but you can't request it you only get what they ship as I was told Friday but you would think after sending me 3 of these westell things that maybe a change is in order to actiontec.
But as always the guy in India has no idea what is being shipped.
So is anyone else having these issues with Verizon westell modems and has anyone gotten an actiontec in its place as well is how the sale to frontier is going.

i continually have problems with my westell 7500, every time i call i get the run around or the system hangs up. internet running slow as can be and if you can get a tech to check the switchbox near the end of the road you have worked a miracle. i have requested a new modem several times and they never want to mail one, so your ahead of me on that game.

Can you provide the Transceiver Statistics from the Westell? Visit http://192.168.1.1/ for me and do the following:
1: If you see a Blue and White Westell page, mouse over Troubleshooting, go to DSL, and choose Transceiver Statistics. Copy/Paste the information on that page.
2: Go to System Monitoring > Advanced Monitors > Transceiver Statistics. Copy/Paste the information on that page.
3: Try visiting http://192.168.1.1/transtat.htm which is a direct link to the Stats on older modems.
If you need a Username and Password, try the following:
